    In England, Bushey is a Hertfordshire town in the borough of Hertsmere. On the Middlesex and Hertfordshire border at the A409 and the A4140 junction, the highest point in Middlesex was in Bushey Heath. Queens' School, Bushey Meads School and Bushey Academy (known as Bushey Hall), of which the first two generally do well in comparison with other schools in the county, are the state secondary schools. The site of the famous Purcell School, a school for young musicians known for turning out successful musicians, is in Bushey.

    Bushey and Bushey Heath feature as backdrops for many film and TV shows as it is near several Borehamwood and Elstree film studios. Warren Lake, a duck pond which in 1992 was restored after falling into dereliction, is in Bushey Heath. Returned near Melbourne Road to rent a studio and cottages, Herkomer in 1873 had visited in Bushey a friend who lived.     When it was almost demolished, Lululaund dominated the Bushey skyline until 1939; much of the woodwork and carvings from the castle were burnt and a lot of the building for Bovingdon Airfield as hardcore was used. On the Harrow London Borough boundary, reaching 165 metre (541 ft) elevations above sea level, Bushey Heath is a neighbourhood south east of Bushey. During a food shortage, Bushey Heath's story begins in the Napoleonic Wars.
